Sleeping tablets are your best friend for the greyhound, better even than the penniless chef traveling cross country who emphasises his bisexuality because it doubles his chances of find a room for the night. Tablets really do make the ride borderline bearable. The infectious electricity inherent to NYC catches on quickly though so the drowsiness won't last long post arrival. You're in the big apple, center of the world! Wake up son!

Many of our exploratory attempts were thwarted by security paranoia, honey/chilli infused Ukranian vodka or New York cheesecake but we got out a little. Much to Moe and my surprise Steve's curiously neanderthal infiltration methods allowed us to gracefully featherfall from the old world fair site shortly before dawn. Shane and I ventured into the worm holes that crisscross the bedrock of NYC. Within the proceeding moments to taking my first photo of an nyc train peacefully sleeping it stirred and roared at us. We turned, ran and hardly stopped to look back. Photo or not, I'll always have the image burned into my memory. I stared longingly towards the Brooklyn Bridge at every opportunity. The imposing sentinel like stone columns tease me endlessly. One day I'll climb that damn bridge, it's worth a snappy glove rectal examination right? Damn you SMFD!

Further south Contagion, Lord Fudgy (a fear inspiring name if ever one existed) and I hastily explored some neat military/institutional locations. In a relaxing day out with Yaggy and Propcycle all our powergeneration plans were spoiled by corpses (seriously) but we made our own fun with silver pimp like fire proof suits.

Overthrown

North America bucked my preconceptions and just confused them all further. So many rad people well met but so many who fit the ugly stereotypes. Some intelligent, articulate and interesting, others piles of offal gained sentience, skeletons and muscular mobility. Story of the world really.

Farewell North America, a chapter closes and the show rolls on.
