Just after taking this photo I narrowly escaped a beating from a homeless guy walking around this old gasworks with a rather solid looking table leg. I sucked wall next to a window as he walked past peering into all the buildings looking for me. As he went around the back of the building I packed my gear (you never realise how loud zippers are until times like this) and evacuated quite quickly. Fuji Velvia 100f

yer its a dangerous business exploring topside especially. MPS is over run with hobo's we got chased by a whole gang of em coz we walked cross their turf.

I am from brisbane which gas works? Fortitude valley? That place is riddled with asbestos man! times like that you need a taser for the hobo

Don't worry about the homeless bums. There is always ways to make them move on to their dumpsters.

Asbestos is nasty shit to run into. I always take a mask or resporater when exploring. Pic is awesome. I love machines, and this one looks sweet. It still looks like it could just run today with no problems. What color were the machines? Were they grey by any chance? Just curious.

They were painted a light babyshit yellow colour, like the rest of the room.
