During our roadtrip to explore the Barron we spent a night sleeping in these old Radar Bunkers near Bowen. It was perfect for star trails and I would have left the shutter open longer if I was sure we wouldn't be bothered. Lucky for me because we were visited by locals in the middle of the night. Influenced by the work of Troy Paiva (see links page). Cropped in photochop. 45 minutes, f2.8. No moon

There's another set of these radar bunkers near Brisbane (well, on the Sunshine Coast). Anybody seen them?

there's bunkers all round brissie, but headin up the coast u'll find the ones at Bribie on the beach
