I don't know if your feeble digitally warped mind can fathom what's thrust itself upon the beautiful colour spectrum that your eyes indulged in but the 'film' did not but this is called 'reciprocity failure'. You should read about it some time my fine feathered friend.

The sky really did have some rad texture going on that night, and the cloudy hazy did have this colour from all the ambient light pollution.
