Good thinking about the rusty support - if something doesn't hold and you fall breaking what i'd roughly estimate to be every bone in your body, your thoughts of dying a prolonged and painful death will be smashed as will your body which is all too aware of its impending fate yet ironically unable to do anything about it...

Why not just bring some extra anchors and rope? : P
