It is as if the comet fell the night before when you were not looking and today even the giants have fallen. You stand staring, and you listen for miles and miles and there is nothing. Only the wind is raising the hairs on your arms. Only your breathing echoes from the walls passing by. Now, everything is the forgettable, but delightful and tranquil. This is what you wanted.

I don't understand this picture, particularly the part in the bottom right corner with the little green fellow. Is that post production or part of the picture?
