These crumbling concrete tunnels have long passed their usefullness. Today they decay in the dark and damp atmosphere; they come here to die. Located in the middle of nowhere, they were an amazing find. Even Durgin from Addelayed was impressed!

ummm, so you shoot on velvia for better destuated effects do you? I do that too, have you tried shooting large format with a hasselblad body with a home made lens on iso 3200?

ha. ha. ha. It looks good colour, but the black and white has more atmosphere. Colour version linked above, decide for yourself!

hmmm yeah - I do like the majority of that photo in colour but the floor is very distracting - my eyes kept wandering down there ... I don't know whether that means I'm depressed or the floor is attractive but yeah - I see why you desaturated :)

large format. scary... although I'd love to see dsankt bust out some urbex shots on a 6x9. The price of 120 Velvia is obscene tho. I think it would look good shot as 400 push 2 TMax.

I am finally getting to the stage where I could justify shooting medium format. I'm torn between MF, a blad xpan, or an eos 1v-hs; and they're all expensive.

I've got a couple of cheap TLR's that I want to get rid of ($50ea). Ricoh Ricohflex and Lomo Lubitel 166B. Both work well, no light leaks, they've only got 80mm lenses (40mm in 35 format) so probably not much use to you. I was taking a couple of shots at Clannies. Cheap way to get started. You'd really need to get something like a Mamiya 645 so you can change lenses. C2/C3's are much cheaper but the TLR wangle lenses are hard to find. The problem is that processing is going to cost you a fortune after a while. You could keep costs down by doing your own black & white, like I do, but colour is going to be a bit pricey, especially if you don't have a film scanner and need to scan from prints.
