the tunnel going off to the right is an old open drain that got a brick cap over it when some politician tripped over in it. The bricks that make up the cap are port arthur convict bricks with the arrows stamped in them and lots of salt leeching from them. The tunnel is meant to go a fair way up elizabeth street, I would love to go up there!! but it would be very hard to work out where you were when you went up it of course... I do not know if it comes out anywhere.
This drain leads to an underground intersection. One pipe leads back down to the darkie. The other two head on in roughly the same direction.
the tunnel to the right meets up with the two round tunnels (behind where the guy is standing, bit hard to see them)
It's possible to exit from these tunnels up in Warrick St, West Hobart.
Are you guys from Hobart?
Does the tunnel get any higher or is it that height the whole way? Where is the exit in Warwick St? I would guess then that you can get in there too?
Would love to chat to you send me an email or chat o MSN messenger sikrexmate at hotmail dot com
Went far up the righthand tunnel. V/ good exit out of a gutter on some street. Had to get pushed through the tiniest little pipe halfway up the wall to find myself under a grate in a gutter. Should have seen the looks!!!
Haha well done :) Nothing like scaring the public. Best response to climbing out a manhole in a crowded area "are you guys on a sewer tour?".
So thats where it comes from. Divulge all your secrets octoninjizzle
that tunnel is wicked. i love it
