2 pi radians of rockblasted goodness. During the day Burford's Batcave serves as a roost for thousands of tiny bats. Lucky for us they don't bite. This shot was taken in 2002 on a 3.2 megapickle canon S30. Sleek and sturdy, with a max 15 second expose it was my first brief foray into urbex photography photography before the lure of film drew me eye. 3s f8.

The thousandsof tiny bats had become just a few on the AM of 7/8. Might have been due to the almost fresh clanprints in the mud we noticed!! Your work is doing these places justice....

How long can ya stay down there for on a general low tide trip? I found it but it was high tide, there were so many lazards swimming around, crazy. Silloheuts are cool man.

Dam I think i just figured out where this is.... which is only bad cos I fucking hate bats, but i love taking photos in tunnels - and I have a feeling my tunnel love will draw me into the cave with the bats!

Take a nocturnal trip and you'll miss of them. How could you hate something so cuddly?
