It is common practice that whoever finds a location is given the rights to name it. In this manner names such as Dougo's Tomb and ekweleksotika came about. The above drain, dsanktuary, follows the same principle. Luckily the natural and painted light balance well in both exposure and colour. Light painted + ambient Fuji Sensia 100

I just came across a document that suggests that (at least the downstream section of) this drain was constructed in 1899. Good to know.
