More photos with the graffiti tag.
This old warehouse stores a fleet of long disused trams. From friends I've heard that years ago they were in perfect condition, obviously not the case when this photo was taken. Fuji Sensia 100

Man it sucks so bad when people have to screw with fantastic stuff like that. When they do that it takes away any sense of discovery for people that come after them. And face it, when stuff gets trashed on discovery eventually we run out of cool shit to look at :(

It's unfortunately the way it is. The best way to deal with it is just to beat them to it, see it all before someone destroys it.

yep, well look at what happened to all Melbourne's great W' trams! over 300 stored at Newport in Melbourne, they are all the best trams of Australia I think( the Melbourne one's i mean), what a shame Melbourne withdrew them 10 years ago because they didn't have heaters in them...they could have just put some in?! now Melbourne's trams are all ugly souless and new, but they will never be as great as the great W's......R.I.P great W class trams, most of us miss you very much. The class is absent from the tracks of Melboune forever.

Trams are in the old tramshed near the paceway. Were originally sourced and restored for an aborted heritage tramway in the Rocks. The site is presently the subject of a development application and its days may be numbered. Pretty poor show to see the trams treated like this as they were in good condition until fairly recently.

The DA is for converting the site into a mixed use commercial/residential development with a tram interpretation musem. The facade of the whole building is being restored and the northern half of the building is mostly being preserved. a mother of a 6 story building will be built smack bang in the centre of the southern part of the buidling. 3 of the better trams will be restored for display. Council owns them. That's the plan anyway. Who knows what the developer will finally do.

"dsankt It's unfortunately the way it is. The best way to deal with it is just to beat them to it, see it all before someone destroys it." Beat them to it...? I rather beat their heads to a pulp! Thats so sad, such history ruined :(

The DA was refused by council so that's a win! The developer will probably take it to the Land and Environment Court.

found this place at last! But I couldn't get in for a closer look because apperently the only way in is through the roof. I have to give up because I had open heart sugery last august and can't climb anymore. From the roof I could see the trams and the graffiti on them is real bad -I think the spivs that did this are the one that graffiti all the trains in Sydney I hope they get caught soon because they are costing taxpayers money to clean the trains.

Yeah, those lousy maggots fucking spray painting cool sites like this. I'd love to stick those spay cans up their arses! Anyways...since I am too far away to do that...It is a great shot of some never to see again history. Over here in the ole U.S. of A, trams are not used as much....mostly for yuppies in San Fran. to get attention on. ( Yeah, I hate yuppies, too. ) R.I.P. trams. Too bad some jerks had to desicrate you.

have more info. trams are owned by tram museum http://www.sydneytramwaymuseum.com.au/ apparently they have no spare space for them so they leave them in the old sheds.
