This jetty runs way out from the shoreline, carrying coal from a colliery out to ships that take it away. I don't know how the sky came coloured like it did, blame it on the emulsion :) Some faint yellow ambient light filtered down from the (empty) collirey to mix with moonlight. 5min f4 Fuji Sensia 100

Hey man. I love your shots and this is no exception. The textured streak of the sky and the faded brilliance of the move-ish purple are in fantastic contrast to the derelict scrapheap of sculptured metal. The lights on the right are the only fault with this photo. Would it be possible to burn these out?

Sure, but if I leave them in I'll be annoyed enough to remember that if I'd been paying attention I could have moved 20cm left and tucked them behind that pole.
