Hey Curly I thought this was still used occasionally. Don't they lay up the trains here?

This is a very LIVE tunnel... do not go in there unless you want to play chicken with trains...

Its definitely not a VERY LIVE tunnel, its only occasionally used as a lay-up for trains terminating at Martin Place Station

It is a LIVE tunnel for a terminating express train that doesnt go onto bondi at just before 8am and another just after 4pm. It turns around and heads back to mortdale. Pretty safe other times. The train moves very slowly and is easy to escape. It is also used to house a train when track works are done further down the line, and therefore yards cannot be accessed. So watch out for those nights.

Damn all the nut-riders come out when it comes to train tunnel action. Its a pretty mad-elite entrance, I can see why people can't find it. Down there a couple of weeks back and the lights were out, nice.

90% of explorers don't bust train tunnels, the risks are misunderstood and overinflated and for most the risks outweigh the rewards. Fine by me. I'll put up some shots from Paris metro soon, though they're barely a teaser.
